EVs are a tango of software and hardware. For Ola, being software-driven is a strong point, which is carried over to Ola Electric. It is doing ground-up development in battery and chargers. India’s best-funded EV startup now needs to decide what kind of products will work in the long term, build the organisation, and make investments.
