Building a desi Zoom: For those in the fray, balancing security and features will be the holy grail

The government will soon announce the first shortlist of contenders for a competition to develop a desi encrypted VC software. The inherent difficulty in balancing security with user-friendliness and a gamut of features is at the heart of Zoom’s troubles. Striking that balance will define the Indian efforts.
